Once you know what IP rating you need, you can start thinking about the style. Ceiling sconces and spotlights are a great choice for the bathroom area as they are more compact, have no dangling cords and therefore no need to worry. It is important to note that the main light in the bathroom must be turned on by a light switch located outside the bathroom.<\/p>\n

As with the bathroom area, we need to ensure security and IP ratings. Exterior lights must be at least IP44, which ensures that they are protected against splashes and general wear and tear of exteriors. There are a variety of lights available for your outdoor space, ranging from simple wall lights to elegant pole pathways and decorative pendant lights. Keep in mind that when installing outdoor lighting, all wiring must be protected and all metalwork grounded. Also, where possible, switches should be located indoors.<\/p>\n
